It was destroyed in a hangar fire in 1931 by which time it was registered VH-UBW. Allotted from No. 1 Bomber Operational Conversion Unit to No. 3 Aircraft Depot at Amberley on the19 January 1971. Allotted to Dept. of Supply for disposal on 19 November 1971. Sold to QAM on 21 November 1973.

Canberra A84-226 first flew on October 28, 1955, and was delivered to No 82 Wing on April 24, 1956. It was transferred to No 2 Squadron on July 13, 1971. Approved for disposal on November 19, 1971, but on December 8 of that year it was approved as a training aid for use at RAAF Wagga, New South Wales, where it remained until gifted to the Australian National Aviation Museum by RAAF Heritage in February 2016, and in June of that year it was transported to the Australian National Aviation Museum where it has been restored and is on display. NL153 was the prototype C.XII ambulance. Converted to a VIP aircraft and shipped to the RAAF for the use of the Duke of Gloucester, who was governor-general of Australia. Photo shows it on a trip to Queensland by the Duke in 1945. Retained by the RAAF after the Duke returned to the UK in 1947. Sold in February 1953 and registered as VH-PDC and as a civil Anson 12. The Wirraway was then a general purpose aircraft with a combat role and were replaced by Vultee Vengeances in October 1942. By then A20-7 was being used as a trainer in southern New South Wales. Sitting next to Machi MB-326H, A7-025 this Canberra was constructed by the Government Aircraft Factories, Melbourne, Australia in 1955 and delivered to the RAAF in March 1957. It saw active military duty in Malaya with No. 2 Squadron and was deployed to Vietnam on April 19th, 1967. It returned to Amberley Air Force Base on February 26th, 1971, where it then served as a photo reconnaissance aircraft until being retired. The aircraft was donated to the Aviation Heritage Museum, Perth, on December 17th, 1983, by the Australian Government. (Info from Aviation Heritage Museum)
