T-255 was delivered to 334sq at Eindhoven on 25 Oct'04. The DC-10 arrived in the Netherlands in basic United Airlines c/s with 82,000 flight hrs on its clocks and with its former registration N1858U. Before its delivery, it as been stored at Marana (AZ) for some 3 years. On 01 Nov'05 it became T-255 and was converted in Italy for transport tasks. Due to cost reductions within the Dutch MoD, the DC-10 was only modified with a new cockpit and for personnel transport tasks. Further dwindling resulted in phasing out the a/c. Last flight on 29 Dec'13, and flown over to the UK for scrap on 11 Apr'14

In the colour scheme in which the F-27s of the KLu were delivered. All received a camo finish in the 70s.

Delivered new to the RNethAF in 11.96 and operated by 334 Squadron.

Final fly past before heading to Cornwall-St.Mawgan for scrapping. The aircraft was acquired in 2004 and subject to heavy cockpit modifications. After seven years it became operational in 2011, but was struck of charge after just three years of service.

Not the very best photo, but an operational combat deployment of a Dutch C-130H-30 makes it up. G-273 was deployed in support of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) to Kabul International Airport. Sometimes, like on this January 2006 day, the weather was okay but the enormous dose of dust in the air made the picture near black and white.
