VH-CAG served with the Department of Civil Aviation and its successors from 1968 until it was destroyed in a mid-air collision with a glider at Tocumwal, New South Wales on November 2, 1990.

VH-ATD was delivered to the Australian Department of Transport, Air Transport Group, in 1977. Aviation bureaucracy in Australia was in state of endless reorganisation as governments changed. The Air Transport Group became the Department of Aviation then the Civil Aviation Authority, which was the operator in 1992. Before VH-ATD left Australia for Canada in 1998, the CAA had split in two, with the airways inspection F28 moving Airservices Australia.

VH-ATG was delivered to the Australian Department of Transport, Air Transport Group, in 1977. It continued with the various successors to the department until 1997 when it was sold to Time Air in Canada.

VH-ATE was delivered to the Australian Department of Transport, Air Transport Group, in 1977. Aviation bureaucracy in Australia was in state of endless reorganisation as governments changed. The Air Transport Group became the Department of Aviation in whose colours the flight inspection F28 is pictured. It was sold to Ansett in November 1987, which deemed the aircraft unsuitable for conversion to an airliner. It was sold to in Canada in 1988 and operated as an airliner until 2002.

The department sold VH-CAB in 1992 but it remained on the register in 2017.
