This Super DC-8 was no stranger to Scandinavia in its earlier years, starting off as LN-MOY with SAS in 4.69. Acquired by Sterling in 5.84 after 10 years with Thai as HS-TGY and returned to SAS 10.86. Registered N796AL and converted to -63F in 1989, going into service with Emery. Bought by Aeropostal (Mexico) in 1.03 and became XA-TXS, wfu at Queretaro in 2014

Delivered to Sterling Airways April 3 , 1981 and a rare visitor to Toronto on one of their trans-Atlantic charters. Later operated in Canada by Royal Airlines from June 1994 to October 1997. Re-registered N969CA for Champion Air February 1998 , it was finally stored at Opa-locka, Florida after January 2007.
