Last C-135F converted to C-135FR

Livery never in use with French AF. Only with Dassault on prototypes M-4000 & Rafale

The French C-135FR tankers were put in storage at Garons. In July 2024 it was reported that commercial operator Metrea had bought these aircraft.

A Mirage F1 CR from the Escadron de Reconnaissance 2/33 "Savoie" returns from a mission during Exercise MAPLE FLAG XL (MF 40). Exercise MAPLE FLAG runs from May 22 to June 15 and is divided into two two-week periods. During each period, forces from Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Belgium, the United States, the United Kingdom and NATO engage in a simulated, 10-day coalition air campaign. Preserved at the Musée Aéronautique de Champagne at Brienne-le-Château from 1983. Remained there after the museum closed. Still there in 2013. Gone by 2017. Probably scrapped.
