Arnold Air Force Base is a United States Air Force base located in Coffee and Franklin counties, Tennessee, adjacent to the city of Tullahoma. It is named for General Henry "Hap" Arnold, the "father" of the U.S. Air Force. F-105D 62-4328 can be found at the gate of this huge complex.

Two Phantoms of the 388th TFW at Korat RTAFB in early 1972. Next to 67-0274/JJ of the 34th TFS is 67-0268/JV of the 469th TFS. Both aircraft were delivered to Turkey in 1987.

Nice picture of two Korat RTAFB based Phantoms of the 388th TFW being refuelled by KC-135A 59-1479. The aircraft hooked up here is 67-0385/JJ that crashed on 22 September 1972 while attempting to land at Korat in poor weather. The aircraft closest to the camera is 67-0315/JV.

Wears its serial in non-standard fashion as 'AF91-743'.

This F-105 was built at Farmingdale, NY, and accepted by the USAF on January 1962, being assigned to the 355th Tactical Fighter Wing (Tactical Air Command) at George AFB, CA. During the conflict in SE Asia it was based in Thailand and is credited with the downing of a MiG-17 over North Vietnam. It was dropped from the inventory around March 1982 and is now on display at the side of the freeway, on the approach to the super Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum.
