This 1966 Queen Air was imported new, as the rego implies, for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. It carried the US rego N9506Q for the ferry and was re-registered VH-FDV(2) on 19 April 1966. Subsequently sold and operated for a time by Skytours, which specialised in outback tourist flights. Currently based in Queensland, it flew in to the Wide Bay International Airshow each day for static display alongside a current RFDS King Air.

This Trojan was built for the US Navy with serial Bu 137743. Retired, it was civil registered as N5439X in August 1984. It moved through several owners before being exported to Australia in April 2008. It was registered VH-ZSH on 27 November that year and is currently based in Toowoomba, Qld. It seems to have been partly repainted since moving to Australia, and now carries the appropriate name 'Miss Stress' on the port nose.
