Although painted in this superb USN scheme, this aircraft was actually built as AT-6C Harvard Mk II, USAAF 41-33767, to an RAF order (EX794). It was, however, shipped straight to New Zealand in August 1943 and became NZ1051. It served with the RNZAF until 1978 when it was sold and entered the hands of the warbird community.

This immaculate Tiger was originally built by DHA at Mascot with cn 189 and went to the RAAF as A17-188. Somewhere along the line it gained re-build cn T245. Post-war it came on to the civil Register as VH-AXH before being re-registered at DCA insistence as VH-BXH. It later became VH-RVH(2) with the Royal Vic Aero Club, sporting a canopy. The last 'true' Auster, the Beagle Terrier was a civil conversion from the military Auster AOP.6. Only 45 Terrier 2s were built, 64 Terriers in all, so this is a fairly rare aircraft. Seen here at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in.

The Aircoupe is really quite a small aeroplane and this photo makes it look larger than it really is. This one is based in Wagga Wagga and is a regular attendee at fly-ins such as this one held by the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia. It was imported to Australia in 1992.

The oldest airworthy Tiger in Australia, this rare pre-War, UK-built example was registered in Australia new as VH-UVZ on 12 August 1938 to Airflite Ltd. of Mascot. It crashed into Sydney Harbour in 1937, but was re-built and later impressed into the RAAF in August 1940 as A17-691. In 1947 it was restored to the civil Register as VH-BBP, later becoming VH-PCD before being withdrawn from use in July 1961. It once again carries its original registration and since 2000 resides with the Temora Aviation Museum.
