The Royal Danish Air Force realised very quickly that their 29 F-104s were not sufficient to maintain effective readiness, so they started searching for a solution. After withdrawing some Starfighters from service in Europe, the Royal Canadian Air Force offered the Danish (and Norwegian Air Force) their surplus machines. Thus the Royal Danish Air Force decided in September 1971 to buy 15 additional Starfighter CF-104 single seaters and seven CF-104D two seaters that would go into service between 1972-74. This is one of those 15 CF-104s.

Six converted TT Mk.1s (from Firefly FR1s) were acquired by the Royal Danish AF from 1951 to 1958 to tow aerial targets for live fire exercises by the Army and Navy. This Particular Firefly served with the Fleet Air Arm as PP392 and then became SE-CAW with Svensk Flygtjänst (prsumably not one of three originals that came from Denmark) and has been restored in these RDAF markings.

In 1920 Denmark bought six Avro 504Ks and five years later took delivery of one 504N, the two-seater trainer version with a bigger engine and stronger undercarriage. Three more 504Ns were built under licence by L.B.I. at the Naval shipyard in Copenhagen and two of the originally delivered 504Ks were also later modified into the N-version. The Danish Avro 504s served at the Naval bases in Ringsted and Avedoere. This is one of the three 504Ns built by L.B.I. and is on display with its original Armstrong Siddeley Lynx radial engine.
