This KZ IV was built in 1944 (the only other example of the type was OY-DZU, built in 1949) and used as a flying ambulance for Zone-Redningskorpset. In March 1948 this aircraft took off with the Swedish Count Folke Bernadotte in order to negotiate with the Nazis for the release of some 30,000 internees of the Theresienstadt Ghetto.
