This aircraft was delivered to United in December 1959 as a DC-8-11 and updated to a -12 in March 1964. It was traded in to Boeing in November 1977, converted to DC-8-21(F) status and briefly flown in 1978 wearing International Express titles. In early 1979 it was acquired by Concord International Airlines and re-registered N579JC, only to be sold to Michigan Peninsular Airlines in September that year. It was photographed withdrawn at Marana-Pinal Air Park in March 1982 and stored there until broken up in 1985, the registration being cancelled on 30 March 1985.

Delivered to United Air Lines as DC-8-11 N8012U in 1959. Converted to a DC-8-12 then to a DC-8-21 in 1965. Traded in to Boeing in 1977. Passed to other owners and converted to a DC-8-21(F) freighter in 1978. To Concord International Airlines as N579JC then to Michigan Peninsula Airlines in 1979. Withdrawn from use at Marana, AZ in 1983. Scrapped in 1985/6.

The aircraft was converted to a DC-8-20 in 1978 and leased to Concord International Airlines (N579JC) February - September 1979. After MPA - Michigan Peninsula Airways eased it September 1979 - January 1983, the aircraft was stored at Marana, AZ until broken up in 1985.
