This Hercules was on static display at the Australian International Airshow. It first flew using the Lockheed flight-test rego N130JR and was delivered to the RAAF in 2000. Currently serving with 37 Squadron. It's still in the early light grey overall camouflage scheme, but with some of the engine cowlings painted in the newer upper-surface dark grey, suggesting they are replacement parts.

This aircraft was produced as a standard Airvan and was registered on 4 December 2002 (although it's got a 2003 cn!). It was later converted to become the prototype turbocharged Airvan, for which certification was achieved in February 2009. It previously appeared at the Australian International Airshow in 2007 in MAF colours - possibly for promotional purposes. It's seen here taxying for a handling demo in 2009 in the very capable hands of Gippy's test pilot, Dave Wheatland.

The Furio is a new composite-construction kitplane, designed and manufactured in New Zealand. This is the first prototype and it flew across the Tasman Sea to attend the Australian International Airshow (first flight was on 6 February 2008). Quite a stunning looker, really, and not a little like the Falco.
