In 2000, the remains of three DH.9s were discovered in India and two were retrieved for restoration in the UK. Of these, D5649 was restored and is displayed at the IWM Duxford

A composite restoration of this Lysander using components from RCAF 2341, 2349 and 2391 was carried out by Kermit Weeks in Florida prior to the aircraft being repatriated to Duxford in 2003. A long rebuild led to a first flight in August 2018

Early in December 2023, Spitfire FR Mk. XIVe MV293 was repainted at Sywell Aerodrome in the original colour scheme it wore when it was flown by the Indian Air Force, having been delivered to India in December 1947

Built in 1952 for the RAF as Chipmunk T.10 WP867. To Mk22 as G-BCYA in March 1975 and exported to Sweden in June 1975. Flying with the Västerås Aviation Museum as of 2025.

Although this unique aircraft flew again after restoration in April 2018, it was subsequently grounded on being moved to the Newark museum in August 2022. Built as a private venture multi-engine primary and intermediate trainer, RAF interest was limited due to the glut of aircraft available postwar. But in 1946 it was allocated to the Institute of Aviation Medicine, taking up the military serial in 1949. Converted as the R.S.4 Bobsleigh for prone pilot research, the RAE flew it 1951 - 1956 after which it reverted to civilian registration as G-AGOS with Film Aviation Services till wfu in 1973

A rather strange inhabitant of the general aviation airfield at Skå-Edeby, West of Stockholm, is this forlorn Antonov An-2. It came to Sweden from Lithuania in 1994, its CoFA already expired in 2001. Abandoned at Skå-Edeby ever since, it sat there for many years until someone reported the aircraft as 'found' to the police, since no-one claimed it, the aircraft became the property of the person who found it. However, nothing changed, it still sits where it was left abandoned. It was painted to resemble an RAF Westland Lysander...

The Spitfire MJ-10 Rougetet is a ¾ scale replica of the iconic World War II fighter, designed by Marcel Jurca and structurally calculated by the ESTACA Aeronautical Engineering School in Paris. This particular example was built by Alain ROUGETET from Les Mureaux, France. At the death of its builder in 2024, his friends have bought the plane and founded an association to make it flying "Alain's Spitfire". Home Built
