This was the last Parrot delivered to the RAAF, on 25 June 1982, and ferried as ZK-EUZ. It has been retained for the RAAF Museum and is seen here bringing the Museum pilots to Melton for an early-morning briefing before the Houdini-Centenary Air Show.

Here's a formation you don't see every day! The RAAF Museum's Sabre, restored and operated by the Temora Aviation Museum, leads Temora's former Col Pay Spitfire VH-HET and the RAAF Museum's Mustang VH-SVU. This Avon-Sabre made its first flight in Nov 57. Allocated to the Malaysian Air Force in Nov 71. Obtained by 75 Sqn Butterworth in 77 for unofficial restoration to fly. Returned Aust for further work, reg VH-PCM in 88. Now re-restored and re-reg VH-IPN in reference to its Avpin starter.

This aircraft is really the former RAAF A68-170, built in 1949. Never actually off RAAF charge, it has been with the RAAF Museum since 1970 and was restored to flying condition during 1989-99. Seen here before the 2006 RAAF Museum Air Pageant.

'Salvation Jane' at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in. This aircraft was built by De Havilland Australia at Mascot, NSW, in 1942 and was one of a batch to serve with 9EFTS at Cunderdin, WA. It seems to have been a late starter in its civil career, having first been registered as VH-BTM as late as 5 May 1954. It seems to have suffered a crash in 1959 or 60 and to have been resurrected as VH-AUZ in 1994.

Built to an RAAF order for a new basic trainer, this aircraft had its first flight as A85-427 at CAC's Fishermans Bend aerodrome on 19 June 1956. It was stored at the RAAF Stores Depot, Dubbo, between 1975 and 1996. It was sold into private hands and restored at Moorabbin and Tyabb in 1996/7, being registered VH-WJE on 31 Jan 1997. Its first post-restoration flight was at Tyabb on 22 November that year. Seen here going for an evening pootle at the Antiquers' National Fly-in.
