Calspan purchased their first Gulfstream III aircraft (N710CF) in 2011 when customers expressed a need for a systems testbed with Learjet performance in a larger airframe and to support Northrop Grumman's Next-Generation Jammer flight test program. The aircraft was modified into a systems test aircraft with engineer stations in the cabin, a reconfigurable antenna base on the top of the external fuselage, a testbed power distribution system. In 2016, Calspan added a second Gulfstream III (N721CF) to support additional contracts. It's now retired at Niagara Falls Airport without engines.

In February 2024, Niagara Helicopters placed an order for six Airbus Helicopters H130 to renew its air tourism fleet in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Airbus H130, C-GNND, is the first of the new helicopters and was registered to Niagara Helicopters on August 5, 2025 after completion by Airbus Helicopters Canada in Fort Erie, Ontario. The new H130s will replace four older EC130 T2s (C-GTZN, C-GTZO, C-GTZP and C-GTZQ) delivered in 2015 which replaced a fleet of Bell 407s. Helicopter Transportation Services (HTS) bought Niagara from Ruedi Hafen in 2012. Helicopter tours began in Niagara Falls in 1961.

Rainbow Air started doing helicopter tours of Niagara Falls with MD 500D helicopters out of a raised helipad in downtown Niagara Falls, NY in 1975. On July 3, 2025, the company unveiled its brand new Rainbow Air Tourism Center heliport and two new Airbus H130 T2 helicopters (N961RA and N962RA). The heliport is near Niagara Falls State Park and features an heated helipad for year-round operations, a spacious hangar, and a visitor-friendly terminal with flight simulators and helicopter exhibits including a Bell 204B/UH-1B cabin in US Army markings. An air tour is 8 to 10 minutes.

Calspan Aerospace acquired this Learjet 24D in 1979. It was then modified into a variable stability aircraft and after completion in 1981 entered service first at the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School and the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School. In October, 2017, Calspan acquired a Learjet 31A to be used as a new VSS (Variable Stability System) aircraft to replace the Learjet 24D which is now retired and stored behind the Calspan hangar at Niagara Falls International Airport (KIAG/IAG).

Built in 2015 and a frequent visitor here in the summer. It is based at Portland/OR (KHIO) and is operated by the owner of Columbia Clothing sportswear who also owns a private resort on Henry Island, just over the U.S. border.

This 2012 built Global 6000 arrived late yesterday from San Diego/CA (KSAN) and stayed overnight. Here it is waiting to depart to Florence (LIRQ) with fixed call-sign "Vistajet (VJT) 720".
