Rainbow Air started doing helicopter tours of Niagara Falls with MD 500D helicopters out of a raised helipad in downtown Niagara Falls, NY in 1975. On July 3, 2025, the company unveiled its brand new Rainbow Air Tourism Center heliport and two new Airbus H130 T2 helicopters (N961RA and N962RA). The heliport is near Niagara Falls State Park and features an heated helipad for year-round operations, a spacious hangar, and a visitor-friendly terminal with flight simulators and helicopter exhibits including a Bell 204B/UH-1B cabin in US Army markings.
