This 744 was delivered to British Airways in January 1999 and is pictured climbing out from rw27R. The frame was stored Cardiff in March 2020 but has now been ferried to Kemble for scrapping

G-BNLP was delivered to British Airways in December 1990 and flew its last revenue flight for the airline in December 2018. The frame was then ferried to St. Athan (DGX) and subsequently scrapped.

Leased by Tor Air (of Sweden) from Small Planet Airlines between May and October 2011.

Taken from G-EUXL operating BA1477 from GLA to LHR. Due to extremely strong winds aircraft on the ground at Heathrow were only able to taxy with extreme caution resulting in a backlog for departures and causing delays through the whole system. Normally arriving from Glasgow we would have entered the Bovingdon hold but ATC sent us instead across to the Biggin Hill stack giving this rare chance for me to get a low level overview shot of the field.

Most of the 35 Turbo Firecats were converted by Conair from ex-RCN Trackers, but this one was originally USN S-2A (S2F-1) Bu 136712. Registered C-GYQY by Conair as a Firecat (previously used on a Bristol Freighter) and delivered to the French Protection Civile at Marseille as F-WEOL. Returned for conversion to Turbo in 1993. Named "Miss T11"
