The burnt-out remains of G-ACDA after its infamous encounter with power cables following an engine failure on 27 June 1979 near Cirencester. After years of storage this first production DH82A had been restored to flight to participate in the Famous Grouse Air Rally in July 1979 but crashed while preparing for it. It was rebuilt (reportedly probably a composite with G-ANOR) and is current in 2021 in its original de Havilland School of Flying colours.
