One of an excellent series of photos Qantas took of VH-EAD over Sydney and along Sydney's coast. This photo off Box Head, Broken Bay. -EAD was built as an L1049E in 1955 and was upgraded firstly with weather radar and then turned into a Super G with tip tanks. Sold in the US as N9721C in 1960.
