Sharing the ramp at the KF Aerospace Museum in Kelowna with recently retired CV580 C-FKFA

Nice to see a retired fire bomber preserved complete with its retardant tank. Prop work was happening at the time.

Now a permanent fixture out front of the KF Center for Excellence here in Kelowna. All that is missing is to have a CV5800 or a 737-200 here.

C/N 002, this CV-580 was the main fixture out front the KF Center in Kelowna until the Conair one showed up. Nice to see this early example so well preserved. Some great history here, and well worth the visit!

An airworthy Staggerwing which is part of the brand new KF Aerospace museum

The upper viewing deck provides an excellent photo opportunity. Definitely worth the trip to Kelowna so see this beauty.

The star attraction of the brand new KF Aerospace Center for Excellence Museum in Kelowna is this immaculate airworthy Mosquito.

Soon this extremely rare Tempest II will be airworthy. Its been a very long process but will be well worth it seeing the only flying example of this type in the world. The engine is an R2800 which I was told came out of a Canadair CL-215.

An extremely rare aircraft which is part of the brand new KF Aerospace Museum in Kelowna. This aircraft was undergoing a restoration in New Zealand before it was obtained by the museum and brought to Kelowna where it has been undergoing a complete rebuild to airworthy status. Its nearing completion and is a great addition to the collection

Its long career with Honeywell over, this lovely Convair has made its last flight to Kelowna where it is on outside display at the fantastic new KF Centre for Excellence in Kelowna. New museum and a lovely place to visit. One more Convair to escape the cutters torch thankfully.
