The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador owns five CL415s for aerial fire fighting and two King Air B300/B300Cs for air ambulance patient transfers. The hull of this aircraft was substantially damaged while making its sixth scoop from Whitehead Pond, NL on September 15, 2018 when it struck some hidden rocks at high speed. The damaged aircraft was flown back to Gander Airport and grounded. The aircraft has been out of service for six fire seasons (as of 2024). DHC has made a proposal to the Government to repair C-FOFI and upgrade the four operational CL415s. It's become a political issue.

Ex US Navy 48429, N1565M, CF-IGJ. Written off in a forced landing at Sherbrooke QC on 19 December 1980. Remained there until 1992.

Stored in the yard area behind the Buffalo Airways hangar at Yellowknife. Carrying the bombing number "280", it is still in the "carrots and peas" colours of its former operator, the Provincial Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, but with the "Buffalo" title added to denote its new owner.

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador operated this Canadian Vickers built PBY-5A Canso water bomber from April 1970 until retirement (year?) after which it was placed on static display at Goose Bay Airport, Labrador.

Brought into the hangar next day, to be prepared for the season. Was taken over (via Bombardier) in August 2010 from the Newfoundland and Labrador government, whose colours it still wears here. Ownership passed on to Longview Aviation in July 2017. This is a relatively new CL-215, built in 1987.

In 2001, while owned by Buffalo Airways, it dug in a wing tip while picking up and sank near Inuvik. The Fairview Aircraft Restoration Society have recovered the wreck for restoration.
