This is a very special Starlifter, it was used as a VIP transport by the Headquarter of the Military Airlift Command. Inside you'll find a VIP cabin and it is painted white top/grey bottom and a nice golden tailstripe, operated by the 443th MAW. It is also the last ever built Starlifter.

This was the very last of 285 C-141 Starlifters built by Lockheed Aircraft Corporation (initially constructed as a C-141A and converted to first to a C-141B and then to a C-141C), and it flew the last line mission by the type, on 7 April 2006, from Wright-Patterson AFB to Scott AFB. Preserved as a representative of the 445th Airlift Wing at Scott AFB located in Belleville, IL.

This Starlifter was orginally built as a C-141A and was the first to undergo conversion to a -141B, some 23.5 feet longer and can carry a 45 percent greater payload.
