While still registered, this Drover has not flown in many years. First registered to Flying Doctors in 1964 then went to VP-PAF in 1967 but returned to VH-FDU in 1972. It was WFU in 1980 and restored in 1991. It is based at Caboolture and is displayed in the open there. See interior detail photos.

Originally built as a Mk.1 with Gipsy Majors and registered VH-AZM in 1952. Re-registered VH-DRF in 1961 and in 1964 re-registered again in the RFDS series as VH-FDU. At some stage converted to Mk.3 standard with Lycoming O-360-A1As, which must have made a big improvement! In June 1967 to Fiji Airways as VP-PAF and converted to Mk.3B standard. Returned to Australia as VH-FDU in Dec 1972. Now privately owned, although it once again carries RFDS titles.
