About 12 gliders of this type were used in Poland after the end of World War II. All were withdrawn from service by the end of 1953. The example in the photo was decommissioned in December 1953 and transferred to the collections of the Museum of Technology, and in 1963 it was transferred to the Krakow Museum.

Part of the contingent from the Vintage Glider Club, some of which participated in the Display on the following day. Allocated BGA448 in June 1947. To G-ALJW in April 1949 when the MoCA decreed that all sailplanes should receive Class A registrations, only for this decree to be rescinded around July 1950 (and revived in 2007!). Reverted to BGA448. Preserved in the Lasham Gliding Heritage Centre marked as D-11-875

After the war it was brought to France where it flew as "Weihe No.3", next as R-62 and in Dec-1957 it was registered as F-CBGT, in Dec-1964 changed to F-CRMD and cancelled Sep-1972. Next it was allocated F-CBGT but this was not taken up. In 1990 it was registered as F-CRMX. Its Certificate of Airwothiness expired in Apr-1997 and then it went to the Musée Régional de l'Air, in 2003 renamed Espace Air Passion at Angers.
