The worlds last surviving Saab Scandia, unfortunately nothing remains of the VASP colour scheme and the aircraft is now in serious need of renovation. The aircraft was donated following its retirement at Sao Paulo in 1969 to what was, at the time, called the Eduardo André Matarazzo Museum of Weapons, Vehicles and Machines. The museums founder died in 2002 and the museum is now run by the City of Bebedouro.

Delivered in January 1951 and sold to VASP as PP-SRB in January 1958. Withdrawn from use at Sao Paulo, Congonhas in August 1965 and scrapped.

Saab Scandia "Nial Viking" of SAS taxies out from Heathrow Central to return to Scandinavia. Operated by SAS from March 1951 until October 1957, when sold to VASP as PP-SQX. One of only 18 Scandias sold in the face of competition from the Convair 240 Series.

"Grim Viking" taxies to Heathrow North on arrival as sightseers wait (under the nose) to walk across the taxyway on foot to reach the public enclosure. Such was the relaxed atmosphere in those days! SE-BSD served SAS 11.50 until sale in 12.57 to VASP as PP-SQV.
