On the 1st of February 1999 the aircraft was lost, when it was shot down north of Huambo (Angola), whilst in service with Transafrik.

Exhibited at Farnborough 1982 wearing the colour scheme of Diamang to whom it wasn't delivered. This aircraft was later delivered to TAAG Angola on April 14th 1983 as D2-TFW.

Registered G-AWCT in 1.68 by Short Bros and sold to Compania de Diamantes de Angola as CR-LJF, becoming D2-EJF after Angola gained independence from Portugal. Sold by the diamond company, to N3126W and ferried to the US via Fairoaks. Allocated USAF serial 90-0042 but reverted to N3126W, becoming N101UV in 7.94. Operated by Skydive at Deland, FL
