Registered to Hawker Siddeley as G-AYYG 10th May 1971 it was delivered to Mount Cook as ZK-MCF 7th Oct 1976. Reverted back to G-AYYG a few times on lease to Dan-Air and finally returned to the UK full time as G-AYYG 8th Nov 1996 for Emerald Air. Re-registered G-OSOE 17th Nov 1997 for operations by Securicor Air

In Mount Cook Airline cols. For a fair number of years this Mount Cook Airline aircraft, ZK-MCF, would make seasonal swaps with Dan-Air London. It eventually made its way to Emerald Air in 96 and was registered G-OSOE in 97. Retired circa May 2006.

Having spent many years making seasonal exchanges between Mount Cook Airline and Dan-Air London (as G-AYYG) it left New Zealand for the final time to arrive arrive in Southend in June 96. It once again took on the reg of G-AYYG in Aug 96 and was then ferried to Exeter for storage. Purchased by Emerald Airways in Nov 96 and converted to freighter configuration. Repainted in Securicor Omega Express livery in Oct 97 and re-reg G-OSOE in Nov 97. Emerald ceased ops in May 2006. Aircraft spent a little time with Janes Aviation the following year and then withdrawn from use.

Seen stored at Christchurch shortly after her final flight with Mount Cook Airline. She was sold to the UK, where she was registered G-AYYG in June 1996.

Operated by Mount Cook from 10.76 until 08.96, then to C-GRCU.

ZK-MCF was sold in the UK as G-AYYG in 1996. Peter Ricketts photo

ZK-MCF returned to the UK in August 1996 becoming first G-AYYG then G-OSOE.
