Delivered to East African Airways as 5Y-ALR in 1971. To Air Tanzania then to Alisarda as HB-IKC in 1977. Reregistered as I-SARZ in 1981. To McDonnell-Douglas as N504MD then to British Midland Airways as G-BMAM in 1984, Sun Air as ZS-NRB in 1995 then to 1Time in 2004. Withdrawn from use at Johannesburg by 2009 and scrapped in 2013.

Owned by Airfinco SA and leased to Alisarda from October 1977 until bought in May 1983. Re-registered as I-SARZ but operated only till the end of 1983. Became G-BMAM with BMA British Midland for a decade and ended up in South Africa with Sun Air and finally with 1 Time Aero as ZS-NRB. Scrapped in May 2012.

Delivered new to East African 19 Feb 1971 and used on short to medium haul routes in East and Southern Africa. When EAAC was dissolved in 1977, 5Y-ALR was transferred to Kenya Airways and directly leased to Air Tanzania. To Alisarda in late 1977 initially as HB-IKC, then I-SARZ. To British Midland as G-BMAM Jan 1984 and returning to Africa as ZS-NRB with Sun Air Jan 1995. To 1Time April 2004. Retired Nov 2008 and scrapped at Johanneburg. Photographer unknown

This frame started and finished its airline service in Africa, but flew with British Midland between 1984 and 1994.
