Operated by Transglobe from November 1965. Sold to IAS for spares in December 1969, subsequently becoming Gatwick's fire trainer. Scrapped early 1984.

CF-CZC was sold in the UK as G-ATLE in 1965.

I thought the Britannia was a most beautiful airliner and certainly the quietest at the time. The CL-44 derivative which Transglobe/Tradewinds also used was more capable but the lines were slightly spoiled by the incorporation of the CV-990 type cockpit to gain regulatory approval for the CL-44

Transglobe's ex Canadian Pacific Britannia 314 CF-CZC at Ringway on a long distance charter flight in 1966. This aircraft served Transglobe from June 1965 until November 1968.

Built at Belfast and delivered to Canadian Pacific as CF-CZC in 5.58. Sold to Air Links/Transglobe in 6.65 and to IAS for spares in 12.69 before becoming Gatwick's fire trainer. Finally scrapped six months after this shot

Delivered new to Canadian Pacific as CF-CZC in May 1958. Operated by Trnsglobe from their Gatwick base between November 1965 and retirement in December 1969.
