Delivered to Qantas as VH-EBD in 1971. To Boeing as N747BN then to People Express as N608PE in 1985. Merged into Continental in 1987. Withdrawn from use at San Bernadino, CA in 1992 and scrapped in 1994.

Wearing the Eastern Airlines livery but never got delivered, with the sale falling through. It was quickly restored back in its Qantas colours and registered VH-EBD.

N608PE arrives on Sydney's runway 16 (now 16R). It was ex-VH-EBD and was acquired by Continental in its takeover of People Express. It was broken up in 1994.

Probably the rarest 747 to wear Eastern colours, N371EA was never delivered after the sale fell through. It was quickly back in Qantas colours as VH-EBD.
