Delivered to the USAAF as 44-76616 then to the RAF as KN472 and the SAAF as 6868 in 1945. Converted to a DC-3-65TP in 1995. Sold as ZS-OIR in 1998 then N194RD in 1999 and to Samaritan's Purse as N467SP in 2001. Still current on the register in 2022.

Converted to DC3-65TP status in 1995 and sold to Dodson Aviation in July 1998 as N194RD becoming ZS-OIR in November 1998 and returning to N194RD in August 1999. The evangelical Christian humanitarian aid organization Samaritans Purse bought the aircraft in August 2001.

Ex Royal Air Force KN472, transferred 8th Oct 1945. Converted to Turbo power July 1995 and officially re-registered N194RD 15th July 1998 but as can be seen on this photo it was not painted on the date this picture was taken.
