This ex-RCAF Canadair Silver Star belonged to Ormand Adare Haydon-Baillie and at the time of this shot it was based at Cold Lake/AB. In 1974 owner and aircraft moved to the UK where it became G-OAHB. Shown as retired from use by the CAA in 1981 so doubtless in a museum now.
While displayed as 133578, this CT-133 in Lethbridge, Alberta is actually built from three different Silver Stars of unknown serial numbers. It carries early RCAF style serials, roundel and RAF-style fin flash. The red panels on the tail and outer wings is for arctic operations. "133578" is on display in the parking lot of the Royal Canadian Legion 702 Wing's lodge.
