The Su-7 was an important asset of the VVS in the 60s and was widely exported to friendly nations as well. As such it served in various conflicts in the Middle East and the Pak-Indo Wars. Bort 25 red is a Su-7B and is preserved in the excellent museum at Monino, first reported here in November 1968.

Preserved at the Central Aerodrome Museum at the Frunze Central Airfield/Khodynka, Moscow. The museum closed in 2003 and the aircraft moved on. The site was redeveloped.

The Su-7B was the main Soviet ground-attack aircraft of the 1960s. this example is on display at the Central Museum of the Air Forces at Monino.

With its small, sharply-swept wing, the Su-7 fighter-bomber had good handling at low altitude.
