With the insignia of RNAY Sydenham featuring the red hand of Ulster, this Sea Vixen was decommissioned in 3.84 and sent to the fire school at RAF Catterick where it was burnt out by 1988. On 28.1.63 while serving with 893 NAS, it was one of four hit by XJ585 during a night landing accident aboard HMS Centaur, but was repairable.
