Now with its former Australian Navy badge on the nose replaced with the Fugro logo. It was departing to Keflavik and onwards to the Caribbean for survey work. Returned to MST in Aug 2010. Following an overhaul at Woensdrecht it went on its travels again. Last noted being ferried from Guadeloupe to Opa-locka (FL) in Mar 2011. Seen there partly scrapped by Jul 2011.

Delivered new 9th Sep 1976 and transferred to Australian Navy 17th May 1989. Operated all over the world for land surveys and was withdrawn from use KOPF (Opa Locka) 27th March 2011, scrapped Apr 2011

VH-EWP was registered to Associated Airlines not long before this photo was taken. The owner appears to have been the Australian navy which bought it in 1989 and became the owner again in 2006. Associated may have provided the AOC needed civil operations. VH-EWP was sold to Fugro LADS in early 2010. It undertook survey work outside Australia. In March 2011 it was at Opa-locka, Florida in need of a scheduled overhaul but was scrapped instead.

Owned by the Department of Defence and supported by Tenix LADS Corporation, Aircruising Australia and Executive Airlines, this former East-West Airlines F-27 is the last of its once-ubiquitous breed still flying in Australia. It's now used on hydrography work using the Australian-developed Laser Airborne Depth Sounder.
