The first Beta CX300 visited Vancouver and partnered with HeliJet for a technology demonstration to local media and interested parties. Forward looking HeliJet plans to add the Alia A250 VTOL version of the electric aircraft to their fleet by 2030. It will allow the airline to economically connect passengers from outlying locations to their heliports at CYVR and downtown Vancouver, Victoria and Nanaimo.

The first visit of an electric powered aircraft to Toronto took place on July 11 when Beta Technologies CX300, N916LF, stopped overnight at Billy Bishop Toronto City Centre Airport (CYTZ) on its ferry flight to Oshkosh, WI for display at EAA AirVenture. This is the passenger version of the CX300 with seating for two pilots and four passengers.
