Delivered to Braathens SAFE in August 1979 as LN-SUB, sold and leased back as part of Braathens SAFE's fleet renewal in the early 1990s. Reregistered N73FS October 1990. In November 1993 it went to Carnival, later tto Apple Vacations, TACA in November 1996, Aserca in December 2001 as N235TA before joining Nationwide as ZS-PIU. After Nationwide ceased operations in April 2008 it was stored engineless at Johannesburg and scrapped in May 2012.

First flown 7 August 1979 at Renton, delivered to BU as the 8th new 737-200 21 August 1979, and named "Magnus den Gode". During 1986 it was repainted to have the red and dark blue line under the windows, and a larger flag on tail. Sold and leased back as N73FS in 1990 as part of the new orders for 737-400s and -500s. On 19 November 1993 to Carnival Airlines as N73FS, later N235TA and ZS-PIU until broken up at Johannesburg 2012.
