Built for Flying Tigers and delivered in 1962, this CL-44 is pictured being masked for a new color scheme. Brought out of storage and flown to Ft Lauderdale for Aeron International Airlines, it would become N122AE and fly international freight. The aircraft was broken up in September 1999.

Ex-N449T, became N122AE in September 1981.

Delivered to Flying Tiger Line as N449T in 1962. To Trans Meridian as G-AXAA in 1969. Merged into British Cargo Airlines in 1979. To Air Express International as N122AE in 1981 then to Aeron International Airlines in 1985. Withdrawn from use at Greensboro NC by 1994 and scrapped around 1999.

Throwing out vortices on the wet runway at the last Air Tattoo at North Weald before Greenham Common was adopted, although this CL-44 must have been light it didn't seem to lift off very quickly

A later shot of G-AXAA than I uploaded as part of a fog diversion group at Southend. Here with additional IAS sticker on a crisp winter morning at her Stansted base, she was Flying Tiger's N449T being ferried JFK - SEN for TMAC on 13.1.69. Went to AEI as N122AE in 9.81, into storage at Greensboro, NC, in 1989 and broken up for scrap 1999
