Delivered to Air Canada as CF-TJU in 1967. Reregistered as C-FTJU after 1973. Stored at Marana from 1982. To United Aviation Services as N21UA in 1986 and leased to a number of operators. Converted to a DC8-61(F) freighter then to Air Transport International in 1989. To Airborne Express and reregistered as N849AX in 1995. Withdrawn from use at Wilmington, OH in 2003 and scrapped.

This DC-8 was with Air Canada from October 1967 to October 1982. Sold to a leasing company as N21UA, it operated for Eagle Air (and sub lease to Air Algérie) as well as CTA Canafrica Transportes Aereos. Converted to a freighter in 1989, it flew five years with Air Transport International until sold to ABX Air as N849AX in 1994. The aircraft was withdrawn in 2003 and later scrapped.
