To DETA as C9-ARG in July 1976 and reverted to G-BCBB with Monarch Airlines the following month, leased to Air Ceylon as 4R-ACS in March 1977 and Cyrpus Araws as G-BCBB in February 1978. To MAOF as 4X-BMB in October 1981 and transferred to the Israeli Air Force in December 1985 as 010/4X-JYG. Used as radar testbed for the IAI Lavi, fitted with the fighter jet's nose cone. Derelict at IAF Museum compound

This B720 had a very colourful career. It was delivered to American Airlines in July 1960 and later flew with Invicta (G-BCBB), Somali (6O-SAU), DETA (C9-ARG), Air Ceylon (4R-ACS) and Monarch (G-BCBB), before going to Maof in October 1981. In 1986 they sold it to the Israeli AF as 4X-JYG, and it is currently preserved as such at the museum at Hatzerim AFB, Israel.
