Delivered to the US Navy as Bu37257 on 9 Aug 1945. Stored at Litchfield Park, AZ on 30 Jan 1954, then sold as N7255C in 1957 and stored unused at Douglas-Bisbee, AZ. In 1974 its rear fuselage was exchanged with the damaged rear fuselage of N6856C c/n 15-1156. In Dec 1975 the now damaged aircraft was donated to the Pima museum, but remained stored at Douglas-Bisbee until it was trucked to the museum on 30 Mar 1982. There it was stored yet again until restoration finally began in 2003. During that process the aircraft was mistakenly painted as 32757 instead of 37257. As can be seen, the Navy blue has faded considerably over the past 20 years. A repaint would be a good opportunity to also correct the serial.

Painted in error as 32757, is actually the former 37257.

Delivered to the US Navy as 37257. Assigned to NAS Litchfield Park, AZ for storage between January 1954 and by 1957. Bought somewhere between 1957 and 1970 as N7255C. Stored at Douglas-Bisbee (KDUG) and around 1974 the rear fuselage was used to repair N6856C at Douglas. To Pima county Air Museum in December 1975 en the Tucson Air Museum (April 1976). Transported to Pima in March 1982. In 2003, restoration works started and the frame was fitted with the damaged rear fuselage of N6856C. The aircraft was painted with the markings seen in this photo, incorrectly marked as 32757.

Delivered new to US Navy as 37257 in August 1945. Served at NART Minneapolis 1952/54. Sold as N7255C in 1957. Donated to the Museum in 1976. Recently repainted but with incorrect presentation of serial as '32757'.

Its glossy blue paint has faded badly in the hot desert sun. Painted in error as 32757, is actyually the former 37257.
