Unexpected visitor to RAF Sharjah. Diverted in with 'cracked' exhaust manifold on one engine (landed on three). After repairs took off the next day at 0600 hrs, en route to Tahiti. From GAM (Groupe Aérien Mixte) 82. F-RBPS was its 'call sign.'

Ex Air France F-BASS, this Deux-Ponts (= double decker) was transferred to the Armée de l'Air in June 1964 as 306/82-PP. Withdrawn from use in Aug 1967 and stored at Le Bourget. Moved to Fontenay-Trésigny in 1968, and converted into a bar/restaurant in 1984. The registration F-BACC is fake, and shows merely the initials of the owner, Aéro-Club de Chaubuisson.

Twenty "Deux-Ponts" were built during the 50's; Only three frames are now preserved. This one served within French Air Force and is currently restored in Toulouse museum.

The last of three BR-761S transport aircraft supplied to the French AF. Fitted with an earlier central fin shape compared to the BR-763. Ex F-WASM.

One the three Breguet "Deux Ponts" currently existing. Under restoration within "Les Ailes anciennes de Toulouse". Was shortly operated by the French air force during the sixties and coded 64-PH.

This Deux-Ponts (double decker) was delivered to Air France in Jul 1953 as F-BASS, and transferred to the Armée de l'Air in June 1964 as 306/82-PP. In 1968 the aircraft was acquired by Jean-Claude Savigny (on behalf of the Aéro-club Etienne-Boileau), dismantled at Le Bourget and trucked to Fontenay-Trésigny. In 1984 the aeroclub changed its name to Aéro-club de Chaubuisson, and in that same year they converted their Deux-Ponts into a bar/restaurant. The fictitious registration F-BACC was then chosen to show the initials of the aeroclub's new name.

Breguet Provence Deux-Ponts, double decker, now with fake mark F-BACC in use as a restaurant just southeast of Paris, France. It is ex Air France F-BASS.

Turned into a restaurant at LFPQ airfield, off the N4 road, east of Paris. The registration is fake.

My prediction that this 'Deux-Ponts' (Double-Decker) would soon be starring as the 'Father of the A380' in the new Aeroscopia museum did not come true, and she remained in the outside Ailes Anciennes collection nearby.

This wonderful relic was unfortunately broken up for scrap in July 1979.

This aircraft slowly corroded away at Toussus-le-Noble until it was broken up four years later. These were a magnificent sight in the air.

Used by Air France from August 1952 until 1965 as a twin deck passeger aircraft, often referred to as the "Deux-Ponts" (Double-decker). Mainly served the high density Orly-Algeria routes. Converted to Universel freighter in 1965. To Salis Aviation in June 1970.

Marked on fin as Sahara No. 1, but wears code 501 on its nose. Ex French Air Force transport squadron No. 64.
