The aircraft made its last revenue flight on 29th September 2017 and its last ever flight, from Houston, TX., to Victorville, CA., for storage the same day.

After Alaska Air acquired Virgin America in April 2016 the aircraft continued to fly in Virgin America livery, but was re-painted in Alaska colours after the airlines were fully merged in April 2018, the first online photo of it in Alaska livery is dated November 2018. It was withdrawn from use in January 2023 and stored at Vancouver until November 2023 when it moved to Greensboro, NC. On 8th June 2024 it was ferried to Kelowna Airport, BC., and leased to Air Canada as C-FCQX. At the time of posting it still flies for Air Canada and on 7th November 2024 it flew 6 sectors from/to Vancouver, BC.

At the time of posting the aircraft is still active flying for Southwest.

Delivered new to Southwest on 19th June 1996, its last revenue flight for the airline was on 14th August 2017 and it was flown to storage at Victorville the following day. On 21st March 2018 it moved to Tucson and on 2nd July 2018 was re-registered XA-VCE to the Mexican airline Magnicharters, and at the time of posting online tracking data shows it operating up to 4 sectors daily between Monterrey and Cancun.

Still currently in service at the time of posting.

Still active at the time of posting and was tracked flying 6 sectors on 6th November 2024.

Delivered to Southwest on 17th November 2000, it served with them until its last revenue flight, from Orlando McCoy to Atlanta International, on 11th September 2024, and was flown into storage at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport the following day. The registration was cancelled by the FAA on 29th October 2024.

Delivered to Southwest on 27th June 1994, it made its last revenue flight on 29th September 2017, and on 30th of that month it was flown for storage at Victorville where it was subsequently parted out.

The aircraft made its last revenue flight for Southwest on 14th August 2017 and flown to storage at Victorville. It was sold in October 2019 to to the Mexican airline Magnicharters with whom it now flies as XA-VDM "Blue Demon Jr.".

Delivered to Southwest in June 1992, it served until retired to Roswell August 2017 and then flown to Miami International in November 2017 before moving to Opa Locka in April 2018, where it was noted in use as an engine test stand on on 27th June 2022. (See Air History photo ID 513258).

Still wearing basic American Eagle livery. The aircraft had arrived at Kingman on 26th January 2010 and was destined never to leave. It was last reported in one piece in October 2016, the registration was cancelled on 31st January 2019 and it was reportedly scrapped around that time.

Delivered new to Thai Airways International in September 1981 as HS-TGW, later HS-THW, it was acquired by DHL in July 1999 and converted to cargo configuration. Withdrawn from use and flown to Kingman in July 2009, parts have been removed over the years but the aircraft's hulk can still be seen at KIGM on Google Earth imagery date April 2023. Note stored Gulfstream II N396CF in the left foreground.

This registration was cancelled on 26th September 2016 when the aircraft was sold to Canada where it became C-GFBP with Longview Aviation Services and was converted to turboprop powered CL-215T configuration. 

Still wearing basic American Eagle livery. The aircraft had arrived at Kingman on 6th May 2010 and was destined never to leave. It was last reported in one piece in October 2016, the registration was cancelled on 9th September 2019 and it was reportedly scrapped around that time.

This registration was cancelled on 15th April 2014, but the hulk of the aircraft, robbed of many parts, was still visible at Kingman at least as late as June 2021.

This registration was cancelled on 6th November when the aircraft was sold to Canada where it became C-FPKW. Cascade Aerospace converted it to turboprop powered CL-215T configuration and it now flies as a water bomber with the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency. 

When photographed the aircraft was stored wearing the basic livery of its previous operator American Eagle. It was re-registered N830MR in October 2019 and to PH-DWC in July 2021, and can be tracked flying intensively for ASL / JetNetherlands BV from airports in The Netherlands and Belgium.

This aircraft was acquired by Corporate Flight Management, Inc., doing business as Contour Aviation, in September 2017 as has been tracked recently flying regularly from Phoenix, AZ., to Page, AZ., and Moab, UT.

Thought to have been parted out at Kingman in late 2016.

The aircraft was operated as Tanker 262 of Aero-Flite Inc. and was photographed at the company's maintenance base at Kingman, AZ. In 2014 Aero-Flite sold their CL-215s to part fund the purchase of four CL-415 "Super Scoopers", and N262NR went to Canada as C-GFBN where it was converted to turboprop power, becoming a CL-215T but still retaining the c/n 1081. It has since returned to the USA and now flies as N415BT Tanker 281 for Bridger Air Tanker 1 LLC of Belgrade, MT.
