Mike Falls' Harvard used to appear more often than it seems to these days, so it was a welcome sight at the RAAF Museum Air Pageant. Built to a USAAC order as AT-6D 41-34382, it went instead to the USN as an SNJ-5B, Bu43647. Sold ex NAS Litchfield Park, AZ, 24 Jul 57 and became N3274G with Growers Aerial Service, Imperial, CA. Several subsequent owners. Acquired by Mike Falls and shipped to Toowoomba, Qld, '89. Based at Essendon, Vic, since 1 Feb 90.

This rarely-seen Texan was built for the USAAF but delivered to the USN as SNJ-5 Bu 84825 (X-A-N - get it?). It later went to the Spanish Ejercito del Aire as C.6-163, code 421-56. In 1992 it was registered in the USA as N29944 but crashed on take-off at Houston on 19 Sept of that year. It came to Australia for rebuild and was first registered on 12 Feb 1991. Seen here being marshalled into position for static display at the Narromine Airshow.
