Still looks pretty hot! This MiG 21 was operated by the Polish Air Force as 5011. In 1992 it was shipped to Australia and registered, appropriately, VH-XXI on 21 November that year. It flew for a while as a warbird in the mid 1990s before being retired to the Fighter World museum at RAAF Williamtown. It was struck off the Register in July 2006 and subsequently moved to the HARS collection.

Really a Fury, not a Sea Fury, this aircraft was delivered to the Iraq Air Force in November 1953, serial 325. In 1979 the aircraft was recovered and shipped to the USA for restoration. It was rebuilt with a Wright R-3350 for air racing and painted in Royal Australian Navy colours. Registered N30SF on 27 August 1979 but made its first post-restoration flight in 1990. Re-registered N71GB on 13 August 2013. Exported to Australia to join the Paul Bennett Airshows flying circus and re-registered VH-HPB on 13 February 2024.

This Kiowa was allocated the US serial 71-20891 but was delivered in 1972 to the Canadian Armed Forces as a CH-136 with the serial 136226. In May 1989 it crashed in Germany following a wire-strike. The remains appear to have been remanufactured with the new c/n AMT004 (though not on the registration paperwork) and civil registered as N6351C in March 2004. It was re-registered in Australia as VH-JWV(3) on 16 February 2006, then to VH-TES(3) on 10 November that year.

Originally built in 1962 for the Royal Federation of Malaya Air Force, later Royal Malaysian Air Force, with the serial FM1066. Given the civil registration 9M-ART in 1972 for ferrying to Australia and conversion to an agricultural aircraft. However, put in storage until registered VH-EVB on 7 January 1982. Restored in 1987 and used for joy flights for about a decade. Several changes of ownership and a long restoration later, it was re-registered VH-SYS(3) on 15 March 2017. Currently potentially airworthy but in outdoor storage at the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society.

One of two UK-built trainer Canberras given RAAF serials, this aircraft was brought on RAAF charge on 3 May 1956. Served with 82 Wing and suffered two accidents, but repaired, then to CFS at East Sale. From 1963 various disposal options considered including sale to WRE Edinburgh and to the Indian Air Force, or use at ARL for fatigue testing. Ended up at RSTT Wagga Wagga as an instructional airframe. Bought by HARS Sept 1989 & restored for static display.

This aircraft is not what it seems! It is an impostor, painted to resemble the original VH-TQN. This one was manufactured in 1985 and registered, in turn, PH-EXW (a trade plate), N244MA, PH-RFG, VT-NEH then ZK-POH. It was one of two Friendships acquired by the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society from New Zealand in 2017 and intended to be maintained in flying condition. Registered VH-TQN(3) on 18 January 2018.

This Air Tractor was registered new in Australia as VH-FFM(4) on 7 October 2011. Confusingly, VH-FFM(3) was also a different AT-802! It's had three spells on the Canadian register for the northern summers as C-GYBX: 24 April to 9 November 2012; 26 April to 18 November 2013; and 28 April to 5 November 2014.

This Stearman was built for the US Navy as an N2S-3, BuAer 07858. Post-war it was civilianised as N5004V. Joe Baugher reports the fuselage was noted derelict in external storage at Brownfield, TX in July 1986. The US registration was cancelled on 31 December 1992 on export to Australia. Following restoration, it was registered VH-PWS(3) on 14 March 1995 as VH-PWS. It wears its USN Bu number as a fictitious USAAF serial, '41-07858'.
