It now sits on the Commemorative Air Force SoCal Wing ramp at KCMA. A CAF guide told me that this particular Huey has no medivac history and the Red Cross was just painted on the side by the owner.

Ex 66-1029, this is one of four unarmed aircraft delivered in May 1984 as part of a US military aid program, specifically for use in the MEDEVAC role. Painted in this civilian style scheme following the end of the civil war in 1992, it was withdrawn from use in the early 2000s and placed into storage with many other UH-1s at Ilopango.
