According to the Aviation Safety Network website, this Ce208B was originally owned by Aero Taxi Internacional from Panama, with registration HP-1191XI. On 31 January 1992, four passengers hijacked the aicraft and forced it to land at a remote airstrip near Turbo, Colombia. Apparently, the aircraft was then impounded by the Colombian government and it ended up in its police inventory.

According to the Aviation Safety Network website, this Ce208B was originally owned by Aero Taxi Internacional from Panama, with registration HP-1191XI. On 31 January 1992, four passengers hijacked the aicraft and forced it to land at a remote airstrip near Turbo, Colombia. Apparently, the aircraft was then impounded by the Colombian government and it ended up in its police inventory.

This helicopter crashed on 4 August 2015, sixteen on board the Black Hawk were killed, and two seriously injured, when it crashed in the volatile north-west part of the country, in a densely jungled area near the Gulf of Urabá, near Carepa.
