Delivered to the USAAF in 1943 as C-60A 42-55966. Seen here with a Learstar nose, but was never fully converted. Other regns include NC7000 and N7000. Arrived at Brussels, Belgium in May 1998 for restoration, still there by 2008.

Still carrying "Metromex One" name from its days with Petroleum Air Transport, this Lodestar was used for skydiving when photographed. Starting out as 42-56005, the air plane had a long history with such operators as LANICA, US Steel, General Dynamics and was used by the University of Chicago for cloud physics study. It's presently owned by the CAF Airpower Museum (N60JT) and flown in Commemorative Air Force events with its original Air Force serial.

Built for USAAF as C-60A 42-56029.Sold to civil market in July 1945. Converted to Learstar standard in September 1955 and reregistered N88L. Stored by 1980 and no further reports.

Delivered to the USAAF in May 1943 as 42-55984. Sold as N66099 in September 1946. To OO-EDS in June 1947. To N9974F in 1952 and returned to the USA via Ringway with the 'F' missing from its registration.

Built for the US Navy in April 1943 as an R5O-5 serial 12474. Civilianised in 1950 and upgraded by Howard at San Antonio in 1962 including extra tankage. Operated by Lone Star Brewing from 1966 to 1975. Still active in the early 2000's.

Built as USAAF C-60A 43-16433. Later G-AGIJ, Norwegian A.F and OH-VKP. Stored at Arlanda after retirement by Swedair. Now preserved at the Arlanda Flygsamlingar.

Built in 1943 for USAAF as C-60A. Received Learstar modifications in 1955. Crashed on 28 October 1982 during a reported smuggling flight.

Built in June 1943 as C-60A 42-56023. To Canadian Pacific as CF-CPU in July 1945. Used as a corporate aircraft from 1950 until withdrawn in 1978 and stored at Seletar, Singapore. Registration cancelled 18 Apr 1980, but still present on the Seletar dump by March 1997. Note that the official US and Canadian civil aircraft registers incorrectly quoted this aircraft as c/n 2492 (which was in fact N163R).

Built as C-60A 42-32211 for USAAF. Updated by Oakland Airmotive.

Early production Lodestar delivered to Regie Air Afrique as F-ARTG in April 1940, later serving Air France. Returned to the USA in 1953 and had many owners until 1983. Fate unknown.
