Alpha Bravo first flew on 18th May 1976 from Filton and its last flight was as a positioning flight on 15th August 2000 JFK to LHR. It never received the modifications required after the CDG crash of F-BTSC and so never flew again. G-BOAB accumulated 22,296 hours with British Airways and remains preserved at Heathrow.

In January 1979 Braniff commenced sub-sonic Concorde flights from Washington Dulles to Dallas Fort Worth. Due to FAA regulation requiring domestic flights to carry N marking the Concordes were re-registered in this non-standard, dual-nationality series with the G covered for the US internal flight.
