This is the only Nord 2504 Noratlas built. It first flew on 17 Nov 1958, and was handed over to the Aéronautique Navale on 24 Jun 1959. It was intended to be the first of 24 aircraft for them, but the remaining 23 were cancelled. N° 01 was withdrawn from use on 1 Aug 1987 and donated to Escadrille Pégase in Jun 1988. The Noratlas was flown to Aix - Les Milles on delivery on 26 Jun 1988 as F-GFTS, and painted with "1958 - 30 Ans - 1988" titles on the nose (still visible in this photo). On 19 Jan 1989 it had registration F-AZNA reserved, but this was not taken up. None of the plans for this aircraft became reality, and as it turned out it would never fly again. It was eventually broken up in 2013. Note the jetpods on the wing tips.

This DHC-built Tracker (ex RCN 1533) was acquired by Conair in 1980 and soon sold to the Sécurité Civile. Shortly before delivery to them on 24 May 1982 it was converted to Conair Firecat (conversion #009). The aircraft made its last flight for the Sécurité Civile on 25 Sep 2006 and was stored at Marseille. It was bought by the City of Saint-Victoret on 30 Nov 2006, but it remained at Marseille until 19 May 2008 when it was trucked to the Musée de l'Aviation in Saint-Victoret for display. It arrived there the next day.

F-BOHA was delivered to Air France on 26 Mar 1968, and was stored at Paris-Orly after it had flown its last service on 28 Mar 1981. During those 13 years it carried the names Comté de Nice and Guyane, and amassed 25,614 flying hours and 20,261 cycles. Later in 1981 it was sold to the CCI (Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie) for 40,000 French francs (about 6000 euros), and flown from Orly to Avignon Provence Airport on delivery on 6 Dec 1981. It was later transferred to the Aéroclub Vauclusien, which still maintained it by 2019, available for weddings and other celebrations. In Oct 2012 it even received a fresh coat of paint.

The Breguet 941 was a 1961 STOL design which raised interest abroad, but only the prototype plus four aircraft for the Armée de l'Air were built. The type went on sales tours in the USA as the McDonnell 188 in June 1964, and again as the McDonnell Douglas 188 from June 1968 until June 1969. All four aircraft were withdrawn from use in 1974.
The third production aircraft is seen here at the Parc Avenue theme park, still under reconstruction at the time. The park was formerly known as Aerocity, which closed in 2002. It reopened as Parc Avenue in 2010, only to close again in December 2014. This aircraft then moved on to the Ailes Anciennes collection at Toulouse-Blagnac.

N56NA (ex USAAF 43-2023 and United Air Lines N19934) was operated by Northern Airways since Sep 1983 and withdrawn from use by them in July 1989. It was acquired by Peter Milic and flown to Europe in May 1990, then on to Africa. In July 1991 it arrived at Jerusalem, Israel for storage (until at least June 1994). Then in July 1996 the Skytrooper turned up in France, and was first seen at the museum in May 1998. It was registered to Sunbest Industries Corp. in March 2001 and then to Maghreb Aero Service in September 2001, but those were paper actions only and the aircraft has remained on display ever since.

Three former French Air Force aircraft in the museum's storage area, awaiting their fate. On the left is Mirage IIIB N° 233, which was later restored and placed on a pole. In the middle is CM 170R Magister N° 458, which moved to Poland for display in the Muzeum Lotnictwa Polskiego in Kraków less than a year after this photo was taken. This Armstrong Whitworth-built Meteor was allocated RAF serial WM296, but it never flew as such. Instead, it was transferred to the Armée de l'Air immediately after delivery, for use by the Centre d'Essais en Vol (CEV) for guided weapons testing. Withdrawn from use in mid 1985, the aircraft became part of the collection of the Musée Aéronautique de Champagne (Brienne-le-Château) in 1988. By 2001 it had moved to the Musée Européen de l'Aviation de Chasse, as seen here.

A temporary and apparently airworthy guest at the museum, in nice South Vietnamese markings, with its faded Night Mission nose art visible behind the engine. This Flamant arrived at the museum in 2001, but left in late 2010, after having been registered to Blue Bear Air on 5 October 2010. On 6 April 2011 it was registered to Association Dassault Passion and in June 2011 the aircraft was noted at Le Bourget, in bare metal with "Dassault Passion" titles.

This Broussard is giving mixed signals. Delivered to the French AF on 31 January 1957, it was allocated callsign F-SCCB and flew with the last two letters of that as code CB on the fuselage. But traces of another code, HM, are also visible, resulting in spurious codes "CBHM" on this side and "CM" on the other. Serial 24 is still vaguely visible at the top of the fins. This aircraft was last noted at this location in May 2011 and had disappeared by May 2012. Given its poor condition by 2009, it was probably scrapped.
